Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Legendary Lodge, set on a coffee plantation with lush gardens. Relax in your elegant garden cottage and enjoy a welcome dinner and safari briefing from your head guide.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Check into Tarangire Treetops, a unique lodge with elevated rooms overlooking the bush. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in search of giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, hartebeest, and birdlife.

Day 3: Full Day Game Viewing – Tarangire National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives exploring Tarangire’s wildlife-rich landscapes. At sunset, sip on a bush sundowner before experiencing a night game drive in search of nocturnal species such as African wildcats, hyenas, and leopards.

Day 4: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive across the Great Rift Valley into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the Maasai and East Africa’s densest wildlife populations. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to witness its unique ecosystem. Later, check into the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, perched on the crater rim with spectacular views.

Day 5: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater & Maasai Visit

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park (Northern Circuit)

Day 7: Serengeti Migration Safari

Day 8: Serengeti – Grumeti Reserve

Fly to the Grumeti Reserve, a private conservancy managed by Singita. Arrive at Singita Faru Faru Lodge, set along the Grumeti River. After a gourmet lunch and wine tasting, relax at the spa or enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 9: Game Drives – Grumeti Reserve

Explore Grumeti’s exclusive wilderness on morning and evening game drives. With fewer visitors, this private reserve offers intimate wildlife encounters and excellent migration sightings.

Day 10: Grumeti – Arusha – Fly to Uganda

After breakfast, take a charter flight to Arusha and connect to your flight to Entebbe, Uganda. Upon arrival, transfer to Lake Victoria Serena Resort, a luxurious retreat with panoramic lake views. Enjoy dinner and safari orientation.

Day 11: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Uganda

Fly to Kisoro Airstrip and transfer to Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, set on a ridge overlooking the Bwindi forest and Virunga volcanoes. Relax in your private stone cottage with breathtaking views.

Day 12: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is the highlight of your safari — Mountain Gorilla trekking. After a briefing by park rangers, hike through Bwindi’s dense jungle to meet one of the habituated gorilla families. Spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants before returning to the lodge for a complimentary massage.

Day 13: Bwindi – Fly to Entebbe – Departure
