Itinerary
Day 1 : Kampala to Kidepo Valley National Park
Your tour guide will pick you up from the airport. The drive to Kidepo Valley takes 8-9 hours. Along the way, stop for lunch in either Kitgum or Gulu districts. The scenic drive will offer beautiful views of Uganda’s northern landscape. Upon arrival at Kidepo, check-in at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.

Day 2 : Walking Safari and Game Drive in Kidepo Valley
After an early breakfast, you will head out for a walking safari. This will allow you to explore various parts of the park and view wildlife, including lions, elephants, and zebras. You will also enjoy a game drive to see more animals.

Day 3: Kidepo Valley National Park and Village Walk
After breakfast, you will enjoy another game drive. This will give you a chance to spot more animals. Later in the day, you will go for a nature walk to visit nearby villages. Here, you will interact with the Karamojong people, learning about their traditions and way of life.

Day 4: Kidepo to Kotido Districts
After breakfast, you will drive to Kotido, with a stop in Nakapelimoru. This area is home to the largest Manyatta (traditional Karamojong village) in East Africa. You will hike up a rock for incredible views of Nakipelemoru Manyatta. Then, visit the Manyatta to meet the Karamojong people, take photos, and learn about their culture. In the afternoon, you will head to Moroto for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Moroto to Sipi Falls
After breakfast, you will drive to Mount Elgon, a 2-3 hour journey. Although the drive is long, the views along the way are stunning. Upon arrival, check in at Sipi River Lodge.

Day 5: Hike to the Falls and Transfer to Kampala
Enjoy breakfast in the morning before hiking to Sipi Falls. The area offers beautiful views of Mount Elgon and the falls. After lunch, you will return to Kampala or Entebbe, marking the end of your safari.
